Research and development at Centrale agricole

Québec’s largest urban agriculture co-op breaks new ground.

During this 1-hour visit, citizens will be able to discover the unique concept of the Centrale agricole and meet co-op members involved in research and development.

* Unfortunately, the site is not wheelchair accessible and can be noisy, as it is a production site.

Located in Montréal’s District Central, La Centrale agricole is the largest urban agriculture cooperative in Québec. La Centrale agricole brings together some twenty companies and players in urban agriculture. Offering space, training and support, La Centrale agricole is a place of networking and innovation for the development of urban food systems and the circular economy.
