Embroidering the Fab City

Workshop of co-creation of a collaborative fresco of regenerated textiles – Participants are welcome to bring textiles and trimmings of their choice.

In this co-creation workshop, participants will be invited to participate in the ideation of the Fab City by contributing to the mural of reclaimed textiles. The challenge is to illustrate what we cherish in our city using textile scraps, trimmings, and threads recovered from all over the Central District. Participants will be able to experiment with various textile manipulation techniques such as embroidery, felting, patchwork, beading and sashiko to create their work, and share their knowledge, experiences and ideas with the community.
